Privacy Policy
fPaint · effective 15 October 2026
fPaint does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. Your artwork stays on your device.
What fPaint does not do
- No accounts, sign-in or registration.
- No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or usage tracking.
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No uploads: fPaint never sends your images or documents to a server.
Data on your device
fPaint only reads files you choose to open (from Files, your photo library, or another app that hands an image to fPaint), and writes only where you choose to save or export. To protect unsaved work it keeps a recovery draft, optional save backups, your settings and a list of recently opened files in the app's private storage on your device. None of it leaves your device, and uninstalling fPaint removes it.
Photo library access is used solely to let you pick an image to edit. The clipboard is read only when you choose Paste.
Network access
The iOS and Android apps work entirely offline. They open a web page in your browser only when you tap a link, such as this policy or the source code on GitHub; those sites have their own privacy policies.
Children
fPaint collects no information from anyone, including children under 13, so it is suitable for all ages.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Because fPaint collects no data, any future feature that needs to would ask for your consent first.
Contact
fPaint is open source. Questions about privacy can be raised on GitHub, where the full source code can also be inspected.
